Welcome to the TSI Western Isles website, where you can find out about your local TSI partnership and how, by working together, we are able to provide you with fully integrated support and help.
TSI Western Isles represent the voluntary sector at a number of local strategic groups and national network meetings. This means that voluntary groups across the Western Isles have a voice to these groups and networks.
We work to build capacity in our local third sector by developing the capacity of volunteering, community groups, voluntary organisations and social enterprise to achieve positive change.
As the Third Sector Interface (TSI) for the Western Isles, we promote volunteering and help organisations and community groups to recruit volunteers through our support for volunteer involving organisations.
Please tell us about your organisation’s activities and challenges as a result of Covid-19. This will allow us to better support your organisation and represent your views to local and national agencies.

Volunteer and Coronavirus / COVID-19 portal
Thank you to the amazing response from the community the past couple of weeks. We’ve had a high number of people come forward to volunteer with local community groups across the Western Isles who are providing ongoing support for our most vulnerable citizens at this time.
On our Covid-19 page, you will find advice on how to help during the Covid-19 pandemic. We realise there is a lot of information around at the moment – this portal contains trusted information for community groups, organisations and volunteers.
The most impactful thing anyone can do is follow guidance on how to be a good neighbour which you can find on this page.
Meantime thank you and please Think Local, Act Local.
